Pomegranate-Citrus Juice

Yields1 Serving

 1 small grapefruit
 1 juice orange
 1 tangerine or tangelo
 1 lemon
 1 tablespoon agave syrup
 1/4 cup pomegranate juice
 Garnish (optional): pomegranate arils, mint sprigs, lemon slices

If you are using a fresh pomegranate to collect your own juice, roll it around to release the juice from the seeds before you cut into it.


We like to have students juice citrus fruit with their own elbow grease, using a hand juicer and strainer that allows some pulp to remain in the juice.


Mix all ingredients, stir, and pour into serving glasses. Add ice if preferred.
